Why did Whoopi's liberal talk show format fail in New York?

Liberals can't make it on talk radio for some reason. Look at Air America. They had to pay people to keep them on the air. That's why the libs wanted to enact the fairness doctrine. They wanted to silence the other side...nevermind that first amendment thing.
