Good werewolf novel help?

I'm looking for a terrifying werewolf novel, I've read every Darren Shan novel and Dean Vincent Carter's the hunting season and Stephen King's cycle of the werewolf. Thing is I want the werewolves to be heartless monsters and I don't want any sappy love story (aka. NO TWILIGHT SERIES) help!!!
