If I put down peel and stick tile, can it be sealed with a clear coat or urethane? I want to put it in area?

where my dogs will be much of the time. I want ian easy to do floor covering that , in case of accidents, won't leak between the tiles. A one piece linoleum won't work because I'm not even going to try and make all of those cuts. Ceramic tile is out of the question. Any suggestions?
