How much does it cost, per square foot, to build a house in Sacramento, CA?

We would like to build on acreage we have already purchased. We have a well and it is approved for a standard septic. We will build as high end as we can afford. We need a separate wing or upstairs with it's own entrace as housing for a son and wife and child. We think we will need about 4000 sq. feet.
