How come everyone hates me?

I'm a girl in high school with good grades, good looks, and I try to make as many friends as I can. Unfortunately I am a natural born debater. In math cl when my y partner says the wrong thing I start by politely disagreeing. One time he was sure he had the right answer and people behind him agreed. They were all guys and were of course calling me a retarded *****. I asked the teacher and he said I was right. Of course the guys didn't believe me and the four of us were fighting and I guess I got really loud. Now they all hate me and call me the most annoying one in the school. Now a lot of my clmates hates me and I don't have many friends. How do I simmer down my desire to argue and make everyone like me?
