I have an hormonal imbalance will i still be able to have kidz?

i have had this hormonal imbalance since i was a baby its something about some enzyme that is missing from my kidneys but my doc gives me apo prednisone for treatment whenever i forget to take the pills i miss my period i take them everyday and the doc says i am going to have to take them for life im wondering if i will be able to have kidz still cuz he warned me once when i wasnt really taking them that if i dont take them i wont be able to have kidz i have a regular period now and im taking them but im still worried cuz i want to have kidz one day
